This website is owned and operated by Classical Evolution S.L. (“Classical”).

Classical takes their users privacy and security of their personal information very seriously. To that end Classical encourages all users to read this policy prior to providing personal information or downloading any content from the website. Due to the nature of this website, whereby Classical provides a number of external links for your ease, users are advised to investigate all links to third party sites themselves. Classical cannot be held responsible for how those third party sites use your information.

The intention of this document is to set out the ways in which Classical collects your data. This is separated into headings for ease:

Visitors to our website

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site, length of time on site and navigation process (i.e. what directed you to Classical’s site). This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it, as indicated in the further paragraphs.


Classical uses a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our seasonal e-newsletters, job opening newsletters and marketing emails.

Personal information

Classical will only use personal data that is voluntarily submitted to this website, for example, name and email address for the reasons specified above. Personal information is collected in order to provide you with curated content and information on our work and industry. By providing personal information, you consent to Classical using the information for marketing and research purposes, such as providing you with future information about Classical products and services we feel may interest you. It further extends to Classical using this information for their own purposes namely to better understand users needs and to improve the services they provide. Classical employs third parties who will have use of this information. Those third parties can include, but are not limited to, MailChimp (Privacy Policy here), HubSpot (Privacy Policy here), market analysts or lawyers. Those third parties employed by Classical protect your information according to their own Privacy Policies and terms. They will be required to protect your information in the same way as Classical.

Users are entitled, upon written request, to be provided with details of any information stored about them. Any requests for such information should be made to Details of information held on individuals will be provided electronically free of charge.

Users who have provided personal information to Classical, will have the opportunity to “opt out” of further marketing communications material by clicking the unsubscribe link within any email communications or by sending an email to with the email subject: Unsubscribe.

Emailing us

We keep track of any emails sent to and monitor them including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

We use HubSpot to track all communications sent to us regarding new business enquiries. HubSpot monitors and records all emails exchanged between our Project Igniters and the sender, and we use this information to improve our customer service and sales processes. Classical never uses personal or confidential information collected via email outside of the company’s activities.

Job Applicants, Current and Former Freelance Contractors

Classical controls all information you provide during the recruitment process unless otherwise stated. If you have any queries about the process or how we handle your information please contact us at

All of the information you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your application.

We ask you for your personal details including name and contact details. We will also ask you about your previous experience, education, referees and for answers to questions relevant to the role you have applied for. Our recruitment team will have access to all of this information in order to continue with the recruitment process in a successful way.

We will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area. The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format.

We will use the contact details you provide to us to contact you to progress your application. We will use any other information you provide to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for.  We do not collect more information than we need to fulfill our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary.

The information we ask for is used to assess your suitability for employment. You don’t have to provide what we ask for but it might affect your application if you don’t.


We might ask you to participate in assessment tasks; complete tests or occupational personality profile questionnaires; to attend a series of interviews – or a combination of these. Information will be generated by you and by us. For example, you might complete a written test or we might take interview notes. This information is held by Classical.

Offer of employment

If we make a contract offer we will ask you for information so that we can carry out the hiring.

You will therefore be asked to complete and sign a series of legal documents used for the hiring process. We use PandaDoc to collect signatures of all legal documents and contracts. Post start date you will be asked to provide:

  • Full contact information including address, phone number and email address.
  • Bank details attached to your invoices – to process payments.
  • Emergency contact details – so we know who to contact in case we can’t reach you.

How long is the information retained for?

The information you have provided during the application process and the information generated throughout the assessment process, for example interview notes and presentations,  will be retained for 25 years from the closure of the campaign and we might contact you for future job openings.

How do we make decisions about recruitment?

Final recruitment decisions are made by members of team. All of the information gathered during the application process is taken into account.

Classical users should be aware that by using, and continuing to use, this website they accept the use of cookies. This is quite simply to ensure the site works properly. This is common of most websites.

What are cookies? Cookies are small data files on your device from websites you visit. This enables Classical to remember your preferences over a period of time, for example font size and display preference. After leaving Classical’s site users can of course delete those files from their internet browser.
